Where did we come from and where are we going?

Maximum was born out of a desire to spread the word. That marketing, both traditional and digital does not have to cost the earth and it can still be very effective without the "Bells and Whistles". The 80/20 rule applies to your marketing and sales efforts as much as to anything else in life. You will get 80% of your results from 20% of your efforts.

Real Business Experience Helps to Understand Your Business

After almost 20 years in small business having taken over a small retail furniture showroom and launching an online Chesterfield Lounge store we developed our websites by studying Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) techniques in an effort to build our online traffic. Why did we do this? Simple, we were tired of being ripped off by SEO "specialists" that could baffle us with terms and techniques that we would have no idea about and pay exorbitant amounts of money to have them look after our websites on a monthly retainer. We were tired of paying tens of thousands of dollars per year in newspaper, radio and various other traditional marketing mediums.

We have spent almost twenty years in the cut and thrust of small business and we understand the value of a dollar. We understand that spending a dollar on marketing better have some quantifiable result. It may not always work but better to have a considered strategy than an all encompassing "cookie cutter" approach where a little bit of everything is tried. We will help you sort the wheat from the chaff and only suggest strategies we believe will be quanitifable and end in positive results.

When David completed his marketing degree and in his many discussions with advertising representatives one of the main points they made was to have a broad range of marketing and advertising to get your name out there. I'm sorry but maybe if you are a major retailor or other huge conglomerate with oodles of cash to splurge to build your brand and became a house hold name this is a good strategy. For the rest of us, I'm sure you will agree, we would rather spend as little as we can for the biggest impact. In the old days advertising every week in the local newspaper may have worked.

 

Now, there are a myriad of touch points and each business will have different advertising opportunites depending on your prospective customer base.
